Although the effects of an economic downturn on migration are hard to predict, what is changing are the political and social attitudes vis-à-vis migrants. At the Civil Society Days of the Global Forum on Migration and Development, Radio1812 reporter Jenni Roth spoke with the following participants: Göran Hultin, Chief Executive Officer at Caden Corp. in London, Cathleen Caron Executive Director of the Global Workers Justice Alliance and Karl Flecker, National Director Anti-Racism and Human Rights Department of the Canadian Labour Congress.
