A new docu-drama is being filmed in Southern Thailand. It tells the story of young Burmese struggling to survive in tough conditions and low-paid jobs on rubber plantations, construction sites and fishing boats.

The film portrays the lives of the Burmese migrants in Thailand – unknown to people inside Burma.  Many Burmese believe migrant workers enjoy a better life after they leave Burma.

Ron Corben joins the film crew for a look behind the scenes.
