Saudi Arabia is imposing a ban on migrant domestic workers from the Philippines and Indonesia in retaliation against criticism by those countries.

Une trentaine de migrants originaires principalement d'Afrique sont morts ces dernières semaines à la frontière entre l'Arabie Saoudite et le Yémen où vivent dans des conditions catastrophiques un nombre croissant de candidats à l'immigration. Selon l'Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM), ces migrants sont décédés ces dernières semaines des suites de maladies ou après des violences.
