Security officials have caught hundreds of African migrants trying to
illegally enter Europe this month. Migration officials say women and
children, in small numbers, are starting to join African men on the

The government of Niger and the International Organization for Migration have launched an information campaign aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of irregular migration in order to better prevent it. Lisa Schlein reports from IOM for VOA

Migration from Africa to Italy is steadily increasing. The trip from Africa is long and can be quite dangerous. Once the decision is made to leave home, immigrants must first cross the desert, and then set sail on the Mediterranean. And many don 't survive the journey.
