Justicia for Migrant Workers and the Migrant Justice Network present the Vancouver screening of "Migrants: Those that come from within." A 42 minute documentary by Aaraon Diaz Mendiburo on the often hidden human cost of temporary worker programs. Followed by a panel discussion on:

• Filipino migrant workers working under the
  Live-in Caregiver Program by SIKLAB (Advance the rights of overseas
  Filipino workers)

• Temporary migrant
  construction workers by Joe Barret, BC and Yukon Building and
  Construction Trades Council

• Temporary
  migrant agricultural workers by Justicia for Migrant Worker.

Caritas Lebanon will organise a series of activities on the occasion of International Migrants' Day. These include: distribution of kits (including clothes, hygienic supplies, food) to detained migrants all over the country. There will also be recreational activities such as singing and dancing performed by 150 Lebanese children and there will also be distribution of gifts for the holidays.

Migrants, refugees and Israeli human rights activists, together with the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, are holding this cultural event for the sixth year in a row. The program includes movies focusing on migrants and refugees, an international food festival prepared the local migrant community and performances by migrant workers' groups.
