As Australians exchanged presents with family and friends this Christmas, one charity was delivering hope to children living in detention centres.
During December, refugee advocacy group Chil Out worked with organisations around Australia to deliver presents to unaccompanied children in adult detention centres. The group raised more than 15-thousand dollars to buy books, craft supplies and music players for children in detention centres in Adelaide, Darwin and Christmas Island.
