"Io, tu... noi" - Giornata d'incontro tra giovani migranti e italiani

In vista della Giornata mondiale dei migranti, il Servizio rifugiati e migranti (SRM) della Federazione delle chiese evangeliche in Italia (FCEI) organizza domenica 9 dicembre, a Roma, una giornata d'incontro tra giovani migranti e italiani. "Io, tu... noi" è il titolo dell'incontro che avrà luogo presso la chiesa evangelica metodista di via XX Settembre, ed inizierà con un culto multilingue organizzato dai giovani delle chiese evangeliche romane. "L'idea è di coinvolgere ragazzi e ragazze tra i 16 e i 25 anni e di riflettere insieme sulla realtà dei migranti di seconda generazione, nati nel nostro paese, e al loro diritto di cittadinanza", ha spiegato Patrizia Toss del SRM. La giornata prevede animazioni, la proiezione di due video e una tavola rotonda a cui parteciperanno Samira Mangoud della Rete G2 Seconde generazioni, Ilaria Valenzi, della Consulta giovanile per le questioni inerenti al pluralismo religioso e culturale, Annemarie Dupré del gruppo di lavoro "Essere chiesa insieme" della FCEI. Sono tante nella nostra città le persone che provengono da altri paesi, tante le culture e le storie di vita. Donne e uomini, giovani e bambini, ma soprattutto persone. Reggio Emilia è oggi una città più “ricca” anche grazie ai nostri nuovi cittadini. Questa settimana di sensibilizzazione offre l’opportunità di riconoscere il contributo che i migranti danno sia ai paesi di arrivo che a quelli di origine, di riflettere sull’importanza della tutela dei loro diritti e dell’esercizio dei doveri per una convivenza civile. L'Assessorato Coesione e Sicurezza Sociale ha organizzato una settimana ricca di eventi e di incontri come l'incontro tra gli amministratori della città e i cittadini, l'iniziativa culturale "Giro del mondo in un quartiere", l'iniziativa sportiva "Due calci al razzismo", i momenti itineranti di musica del mondo e lo spettacolo teatrale "Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a piazza Vittorio". Programma.
