These days, as security grows ever tighter and fences rise higher, the imaginary line between one country and another becomes more real.

Pablo Peregrina grew up in the border town of Nogales. Juanita Sundberg is a geographer from UBC.

They have both worked in the movement to assist the thousands of people who cross the US-Mexico border each year.
