The American government has named this years international ‘heroes’ for their efforts to End Modern-Day Slavery. Almost all of the ten people who received the award are renowned lawyers and bureaucrats. Only Charimaya Tamang from Nepal knows what it’s like to be trafficked. Rajan Parajuli has her story from the brothels of South Asia to an Award ceremony in Washington.
