Raymond De Feyter – Website Designer en Lid van de Raad van beheer - Gent
Raymond zorgt voor de lay-out van het drukwerk van December 18: affiches, jaarverslagen, folders, enz. Raymond heeft de upgrades van de verschillende Radio 1812 en December 1812 sites gecoördineerd.
René Plaetevoet - Directeur - Brussel
René is medeoprichter en huidige directeur van December 18. Hij werkte verschillende jaren zowel in de mensenrechtensector als in die van de communicatie. Hij bedacht Radio 1812 om op die manier een extra stimulans te geven aan de werldwijde viering van de Internationale Migrantendag.
Najatte Kaaoiss - Coördinator - Brussel
Najatte Kaaoiss started as coordinator since March 2009. She holds a master and is graduated in social work. Prior to joining December 18, she worked during 3 years as general secretary at the FEMYSO. Since 1996, she is involved as volunteer in Muslim community work and also in Trade union. She is one of the key persons building up the "Jeunes CSC Bruxelles" since 2003. She is still involved in training for youth.
Pablo Sánchez - Brussel
Pablo komt uit Barcelona waar hij afgestudeerd is in Internationale Betrekkingen. He woont nu in Brussel en maakt sinds maart 2007 deel uit van het December 18 team. Hij deed ook stages bij Social Alert International en PICUM. Voor het Radio 1812 project helpt Pablo met de vertalingen en ook met het uitbouwen van onze contacten in de spaanstalige wereld.
Marika Sidoti - Brussel
Marika is from Italy, where she studied political science and international relations and graduated with a thesis on refugee rights and migrants' rights in international law. She is particularly interested in human rights protection and promotion and in development cooperation. She volunteered for a relief project in Eritrea and was a cultural mediator at the Lampedusa Reception Centre for immigrants. She started with December 18 in September 2009. Her work includes updating the website with the latest developments related to the UN system. For Radio 1812, Marika coordinates the collaboration with the Italian radio stations and organizations.
Karim Saafi - Brussel
Volunteer for Radio 1812, Karim saafi is currently studying at the Solvay Business School and participated in an exchange program at the Recanati Business School in Tel-Aviv. He is interested and actively participated in debates and forum about intercultural and interreligious dialogue through FEMYSO, Bureau International de la Jeunesse, League of Arab states, the Council of Europe, Jeunes CSC, Stop the killings campaign, ...
Aleksandra Furtak - Engelstalige coördinator - Polen
Aleksandra is an EVS volunteer who joined the Radio 1812 team in August 2010 as the English language coordinator. She is from Poland where she studied history and cultural animation. She was involved in activities of several non governmental organizations focused on the promotion of ecology, art and intercultural dialogue. She also worked in the internet radio and published articles about film and literature in cultural periodicals.
Eimys Ortiz - Spaanstalige coördinator - Spanje
Eimys is a Cuban-Spanish EVS volunteer at our office. She holds a degree in Law (University of Deusto, Spain) and a Master in European and Comparative Law (Ghent University, Belgium). Now, she is writing her PhD on External Relations of the EU (University of Lleida, Spain). Her work at December 18 is mainly focused on the research area. She is also the Spanish language coordinator for Radio 1812 event.
Jasmine Arcella - Franstalige coördinator - België
Jasmine Arcella is half Spanish and half Italian. Has a university degree in Communication from the Saint Louis University of Madrid. Has worked as a secretary for N.A.T.O., in Brussels and has travelled a lot around Asia where she volunteered for the ngo ‘Give Kids Hope’. In the future she will do a Master Degree on European Studies in Rome.
Leen Nicolas - Nederlandstalige coördinator - België & Nederland
Leen Nicolas works since mid august 2010 in the office to coordinate the Dutch speaking part of the Radio 1812 project. For more than ten years she's involved in radio broadcasting on free local radio's in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Nina Spranz – Cöln - Journalist

is a German journalist who joined Decembre 18 just in summer 2010. After her graduation in business science and journalism, she is working as a freelancer for newspapers and journals in Germany, England and Brazil as well as for radio stations. Her main field of work and interest is social and political issues in Latinamerica and Europe.
Jenni Roth – Berlin - Journalist
Jenni is a Finnish-German journalist based in Berlin. After graduating from University in Münster (politics, communication science and Spanish) in 2004, she made a detour to an advertising job in Switzerland, before starting journalist school with the newspaper group “Die Welt” in Berlin. Meanwhile she works as a freelancer, trying to combine her passion for travelling with work as often as possible - covering stories from Vietnam, Bangladesh, America, Finland, Iceland, … Besides Finnish Tango, good humor and photography she is particularly interested in issues about cultural imperialism, human rights/ gender equality, water as the “blue gold”, and, of course, migration.
